no one cares

i hear this mindset a lot. i’m guilty of it sometimes. 

“there’s no point of doing that much work, no one will even care.”

“there’s no point in doing it that way, no one will even notice.”

well yeah. if you only do what you think people will care about then you’re probably never going to make anything that you care about. 

the real good stuff happens when you do the things you care about, and even if no one cares, you are still glad you did it. 

small compromises lead to bigger ones down the line.
